Snap-on impact sockets with ball joints go where others stop

Snap-on impact cups with ball joint- maximum power in hard-to-reach places

When working on chassis, you will come across bolts and nuts that are hard to reach. This applies to trucks, SUVs and passenger cars alike. Think brake caliper bolts, strut bolts and wheel hub bolts. Snap-on introduces the 307RIPLMS: a set of impact sockets with a ball joint and Flank Drive technology that gets you right to the bolt in tight spaces, without removing surrounding components.

Features: Flank Drive long, low-profile socket set with ball joint

Red-dot-1 Ball joint close to the drive square

Red-dot-1 Designed for confined spaces

Red-dot-1 Flank Drive: 15 to 25% more torque

Red-dot-1 Patented pin welding process eliminates the weld bead

Red-dot-1 Smooth 30° movement in any direction

Red-dot-1 Special alloy steel, heat-treated

The ball joint is deliberately placed close to the drive square. This allows the impact wrench to be used in spaces where a standard socket would not fit. Examples include accessing a CV joint, loosening strut bolts or working around ABS rings. The sockets offer 30 degrees of movement in every direction without any loss of power transmission.

Flank Drive technology

The 307RIPLMS features Flank Drive technology. This grips the bolt on its flat sides rather than at the corners. It prevents slippage and delivers 15 to 25 per cent more torque, which makes a real difference when dealing with rusted or corroded fasteners.

The sockets are made from specially alloyed, heat-treated steel. The industrial finish protects against corrosion. The drive square features a ball or pin lock, keeping the socket securely attached to the impact wrench during use.

The set includes sockets from 13 to 19 mm and comes in a storage tray.
