Snap-on 3/8″ Flank Drive socket and ratchet set

In 2026 the United States turns 250. Snap-on marks the occasion with a special tool set. The 212FSMS/FHD100AM is a 3/8″ set with twelve semi-deep sockets and a Cynergy ratchet. History in every detail

The design of the set tells the story of America. The storage tray shows well known symbols such as the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore and the moon landing. Magnets hold the sockets in place. This keeps the set tidy in the tool cart or on the workbench.

The ratchet has its own story too. Thirteen stars surround the Snap-on logo on the ratchet head. They refer to the original thirteen American colonies, as shown on the first American flag from 1776. Instead of the traditional “On” and “Off” markings, the head carries the years 1776 and 2026. The handle comes in red and blue, the national colours of the United States.

More grip, less space needed

The sockets use the Snap-on Flank Drive system. They grip the fastener on the flanks and flats and not on the corners. This delivers 15 to 25% more turning power. The corners of the fastener stay intact. The semi-deep design gives extra reach on bolts that stick out further.

The Cynergy ratchet has a 100-tooth gear. This gives just 3.6 degrees of swing arc. A small movement of the handle is enough to keep turning. That helps when working in tight spaces. The low-profile head gives increased accessibility in places that are hard to reach.
