New diagnostic software for BMW Active Cruise Control
Car manufacturers are constantly updating their hardware and software. Snap-on incorporates these changes into its diagnostic software, ensuring that technicians have quick access to up-to-date vehicle data and new diagnostic and repair options. One of the latest additions is support for BMW Active Cruise Control (ACC).
Active Cruise Control (ACC) uses radar data to monitor traffic and maintain the set following distance. Following replacement of the ACC radar sensor or repair of damage to the front of the vehicle, certain BMW models may require a static calibration of the radar sensor.

With the latest Snap-on diagnostic software, the workshop can now carry out this procedure itself. This means that more ACC repairs can be carried out in-house from start to finish, without having to rely on a third party. This prevents unnecessary delays, reduces repair time, keeps the customer at the workshop and ensures that the car can be returned to the customer correctly and more quickly.
