Thanks to the SMX operating system and large storage capacity, the tester is lightning fast, booting up in two seconds and ready for use immediately.
Operation via the 1024 x 600 pixel 8″ capacitive full colour touchscreen is simple and intuitive, comparable to the operation of smartphones and tablets. The screen supports swiping, scrolling and genuine ‘swiping’, making the SOLUS+ not only powerful in performance but also easy to use. Thanks to the 25% brighter and 60% higher resolution screen than the previous generation SOLUS, the information on the display is also easy to read in direct sunlight.

The Snap-on SOLUS+ is equipped with impressive features that are required of modern diagnostic testers. For example, the tester is kept up to date with ‘Over the Air’ updates via WiFi. The WiFi connection has also been optimised to 5GHz WLAN, making the internet connection better and more reliable.
The Snap-on SOLUS+ comes standard with DoIP and is prepared for CAN-FD, which stands for Controller Area Network with flexible data rate. This is used in CAN applications that require a higher data rate for safety reasons, such as ADAS functions. Intuitive menus and menu navigation, support for Secure Gateway (SGW) and easy-to-use component tests make the SOLUS+ a complete diagnostic tester.
