Snap-on cordless soldering iron: operational within 15 seconds

Snap-on Tools has designed a cordless soldering iron that heats up and is ready for use within 15 seconds. The 14.4 Volt microlithium CTSG861DB is a reliable and versatile solution for various soldering jobs. It is also compact, handy and ideal for use in locations where there is no power supply and in spaces that are difficult to access and cramped.

The Snap-on soldering iron is equipped with a patented position sensor that automatically switches off to prevent fire and burns if the soldering iron falls over. This safety feature makes working with this soldering iron safer and more pleasant.

From delicate electronic work to heavy soldering jobs

Thanks to the “Touch” sensor, the soldering iron can operate at any angle, which is useful for hard-to-reach areas. The soldering iron heats up in just 15 seconds, saving time and enabling more efficient working. With three temperature settings – low (230°C), medium (343°C) and high (399°C) – the soldering iron can be adjusted to suit different applications, from fine electronic work to heavier soldering jobs.

The tri-beam LED lights provide a well-lit working area, which is especially useful in poorly lit workplaces. With a working time of 45 minutes on the low setting, the soldering iron offers sufficient time for prolonged work without needing to recharge. The control panel is easy to use and is located on the back of the soldering iron, allowing settings to be adjusted quickly and easily.
