- Tool set for removing ball joints from the steering knuckle on Ford Transit models from 2014 onwards, both on versions with bolt fastening and without bolt fastening
- No pulling force is exerted on the ball pin during removal. This allows the ball joint to be removed efficiently without pulling loose or damaging the ball connection
- Instead, a pressing force of up to 18 tonnes is applied directly to the ball joint housing. In combination with press frame 1090 55 C and a hydraulic cylinder, even heavily corroded ball joints can be removed without any problems
- The set includes a milling tool that can be used to safely remove the bolt ears from the ball joint. This allows the ball joint to be pressed out safely and in a controlled manner with the pressing tool, without damaging the steering knuckle or the ball joint itself
- No axial load on the ball pin
- Direct pressing load on the ball housing
- Suitable for heavily seized or rusted ball joints
- Less risk of damage to the steering knuckle and steering components
- Faster and safer disassembly compared to conventional methods
