January 2026

These terms of use (“Terms of Use”) describe the conditions under which the mobile application (“App”) of Snap-on Tools B.V. (“Snap-on”) may be used. If you have any questions about the App or these Terms of Use, please contact us at info@snap-on.eu.

  1. Applicability
    1. These Terms of Use apply to the use of (the content of) the App.
    2. By using the App (including downloading and installing it), you as a user of the App (“User”) accept these Terms of Use.
    3. The Terms of Use can also be consulted, downloaded, saved and printed on our website snap-on.eu.
    4. If the App uses third-party services, the terms and conditions, privacy and/or cookie policy of the relevant third parties also apply. Snap-on is not responsible for the services, terms and conditions, and privacy and/or cookie policy of third parties. In the event of any conflict between the Terms of Use on the one hand and the terms and conditions, privacy and/or cookie policy of the third parties concerned on the other, the Terms of Use shall prevail.
    5. Snap-on may amend the Terms of Use.
  2. Licence
    1. Snap-on grants the User a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable licence to use the App.
    2. The User may not make the App available to third parties, sell, rent, decompile, reverse engineer or modify it without the prior consent of Snap-on. Nor may the User remove or circumvent technical measures intended to protect the App.
    3. Snap-on reserves the right at any time to modify the App, change or remove information, data or other content, deny the User the use of the App by terminating the licence, restrict the use of the App or deny access to the App in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently.
    4. Snap-on may make an upgrade for the App available. The upgrade then qualifies as an App within the meaning of the Terms of Use.
  3. Use of the App
    1. Use of the App is at your own expense and risk.
    2. It is not permitted to use the App for commercial purposes.
    3. In order to use the App, the User must provide the necessary equipment, system software and (internet) connection at their own expense.
  4. Intellectual property rights
    1. All intellectual property rights and/or similar rights to (the content of) the App are vested exclusively in Snap-on, its licensors or the administrator of the App.
    2. The User shall respect the name and reputation of Snap-on and its affiliated Member Firms at all times and ensure that its use of the App does not in any way damage the rights and/or reputation of Snap-on and its affiliated Member Firms.
  5. Liability and indemnification
    1. Snap-on is not liable, on any grounds whatsoever, for damage resulting from and/or related to the use of (the content of) the App.
    2. The information, data and other content in the App has been compiled with care. Snap-on cannot guarantee that the information, data and other content in the App, including legal texts from public sources, is accurate, up to date and complete. Snap-on is not liable, on any grounds whatsoever, for damage resulting from and/or related to the information, data and other content in the App.
    3. Snap-on cannot guarantee that the App will always be available without interruption, errors or defects. Snap-on is not liable, on any grounds whatsoever, for damage resulting from and/or related to such interruptions, errors or defects.
    4. The User indemnifies Snap-on against all possible claims from third parties resulting from the use of (the content of) the App. The User shall compensate Snap-on for all damage and costs (including but not limited to judicial and extrajudicial costs) incurred by Snap-on as a result of such claims.
  6. Termination
    1. The User may terminate the use of the App at any time by removing or uninstalling the App from his mobile device.
    2. Snap-on may (without notice) temporarily or permanently make the App unavailable to User(s) or otherwise discontinue the App, without the User(s) being able to derive any rights from this.
  7. Applicable law, dispute resolution
    1. These Terms of Use are governed by Dutch law.
    2. All disputes arising from or related to the use of the App fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Dutch court.
